The Swimming Pool and Spa Association now has the exclusive right to offer the approved Pool Operator's exam that meets the new requirements for obtaining a three-year Swimming Pool Operator's certificate within several Northern Virginia jurisdictions, which include the City of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax City and Fairfax County. With regard to these jurisdictions, the new exam requirements do not require individuals to have completed a course, and no documentation of training is required to challenge the new county exam.
